A window where you want a door, a wall where you don't
Two alterations in one job. The existing window was taken out and the opening dropped to floor level for a sliding patio door — which means a new lintel to carry the wall above, set on proper bearings.
At the same time the old door was ripped out and the opening blocked up, toothed into the existing wall and left flush and ready for the renderer.
The result: light and access where the customer wanted it, and no trace of the door that used to be in the wrong place.
