Builders you can rely on

Altus Building Co takes on extensions, renovations, landscaping, structural alterations, fibreglass roofing and resin driveways across Teesside — one team managing every trade, from the first sketch to the final finish.

Our story

Altus Building Co is run by Brandon, a time-served tradesman with over ten years on the tools. Born and bred in Teesside, he grew up here, learned his trade here, and works here — from a Level 3 bricklaying apprenticeship through to running his own jobs across the region.

Why "Altus"? It means excellence and ambition. Naming a firm after yourself felt too generic — this is a name to grow into, and a standard to live up to on every job.

What sets us apart is how a job gets run. We're particular about the detail: a job takes as long as it takes, and what matters is that you're happy with the finished product — and so are we. The other thing customers mention most is cleanliness. You can produce the best job in the world, but if you leave a mess it's the first thing the customer sees. So the site gets tidied, every day.

Behind the tools there's the paperwork side too: a Gold CSCS card, GRP certification for fibreglass roofing (with a 25-year guarantee on every fibreglass roof we install), and established contacts with a structural engineer and building control — so if your job needs signing off, we'll help you get it sorted.

Building trust. Delivering quality.

What we stand for

  • Building trust

It's in our name for a reason: clear quotes, honest advice about what's worth doing, and no surprise extras at the end of the job.

  • Delivering quality

A job takes as long as it takes. Proper prep, proper materials and no shortcuts — what matters is the finished product.

  • Respect for your home

You can do the best job in the world, but if you leave a mess it's the first thing a customer sees. The site gets tidied, every day.

  • Teesside born and bred

Grew up here and work here. A local name to protect means the job gets done properly — there's nowhere to hide round here.
